The Investment unit structures and manages VERIANOS’ investment products for professional and semi-professional investors. VERIANOS acts – depending on deal size, type of use and investment profile – typically as a co-investor, ensuring an alignment of interest with its clients.
Investments are made into direct real estate and securitised, property-backed claims, with the transaction structure – joint venture, club deal or Alternative Investment Fund – being chosen based on deal-specific requirements.
Investment products launched by VERIANOS are managed by an in house capital management company regulated by the German financial conduct authority (BaFin).
Our geographical focus is on the European property markets. Here we invest in assets of different types of use with potential for value creation through active asset management or revitalisation.
The business unit Advisory offers focused financial and consultancy services to fund managers, financial institutions and property companies. With all team members being seasoned professionals, projects are conducted efficiently and effectively, with client satisfaction and project success as the overarching objectives. Clients benefit from broad expertise and get access to extensive personal networks of industry professionals, investors, financing partners and other relevant stakeholders.
Key areas of competence are structuring and executing of direct and indirect property transactions, advising fund managers, financial institutions, property companies and corporates in complex restructuring and change situations and raising capital for fund managers as a placement agent. In addition we support family offices as buy side and sell side advisors in real estate M&A transactions.
VERIANOS is typically mandated on the basis of performance driven fee models. This ensures alignment of interests and cost effectiveness for our clients.
VERIANOS is continuously looking for investment opportunities. To expand our pan-European portfolio we are currently interested in opportunities with potential for repositioning and refurbishment with a regional focus on Germany, Spain and Italy. Due to existing capital commitments from our investors and an extensive network of due diligence partners we are able to react quickly on offers and to timely execute transactions.
